Raspberry & White Chocolate Scone Recipe

What You’ll Need

  • 250g (90z) self raising flour;
  • 45g (20z) caster sugar;
  • 40g (20z) unsalted butter;
  • 50g (20z) raspberries;
  • 100g (40z) white choc chunks;
  • 1 x medium egg;
  • 2tsp vanilla; and
  • 75ml whole milk.

Method

  • Preheat oven to 220C;
  • Line baking tray with parchment;
  • Sieve flour into large bowl and then add the sugar, butter and vanilla and rub until a breadcrumb consistency;
  • Combine milk and egg into a jug and whisk then slowly add to the bowl mixing with a round ended knife until a dough forms. Knead a little until smooth;
  • Press or roll until 3-4cm thick then cut using a 5cm round cutter;
  • Place on tray and bake for 15-20 minutes; and
  • Let them cool slightly, and then ENJOY.
