Meringue Recipe

Another delicious Ooh & Aah recipe for you to try!

What You’ll Need

  • 100g caster sugar;
  • 75g icing sugar; and
  • 3 large egg whites.

Method

  • Preheat oven to 130C/110C (fan);
  • Put egg whites into clean bowl and whisk until they form stiff glossy peaks, then add the sugar mix one spoonful at a time;
  • Grab a freezer bag, squeeze a little colour around the bag, then spoon in meringue mix and squeeze; and
  • Bake for 1.5-2 hours until you can peel them off the greaseproof.
